The Hazelnut is found via foraging throughout Stardew Valley in the Fall. It can also be grown from Fall Seeds. Shaking a Maple Tree from the 15th through 28th of Fall has a chance to cause a hazelnut to drop from the tree.

Tailoring

Hazelnut is used in the spool of the Sewing Machine to create the Brown Overalls. It can be used in dyeing, serving as an orange dye at the dye pots, located in Emily's and Haley's house, 2 Willow Lane.
