Incorrect, magic bait is more efficient with this method. 20 magic bait for 5 qi gems deconstructed into 20 radioactive ore gives 6000 gold total (or 12000 by smelting them). At 20 qi gems (hopper's price) that is 24000 gold or 48000 with bars

The most efficient way to convert Qi gems to gold is to buy hoppers and deconstruct them into radioactive bars which sell for 3,000 gold each
