The day after watching the [[Community Center#Restoring the Community Center|Community Center Reopening Ceremony]] or the [[Joja Community Development Form#Completion|Joja Community Development Form Completion Ceremony]], Willy mails the player an invitation to the back room of his shop. On arriving, the player finds a hidden dock with an old boat that can be repaired to travel to [[Ginger Island|Ginger Island]] for a fee of {{price|1000}}. Once the boat is fully repaired, a cutscene will occur overnight where Willy and Robin fix the boat. Note that this cutscene may be delayed if another overnight event is happening. Once repaired, the store's doors unlock at 8am, though Willy's own schedule is unchanged. He doesn't need to be in the shop to ride the boat.
