::Hi, Margotbean. Just now, I tested it many times in the game, and now I'm confident that with a regular slingshot it only takes one explosive ammo, too. I don't know if this was changed in one of the updates since July 2021, or you just missed it on your first test（Yes, the target is easy to miss. If the ammo hits the wall around the boulder and explodes, it looks like the boulder was hit but that doesn't count. I even used 4 ammos once during my tests before I realized that my ammos might missed, but most of the time it only takes one）.
