The day after the stump is repaired, a raccoon moves in. Following this, he has a series of 8 requests for items, each yielding a different reward. The requested items often required the use of various [[Crafting#Artisan Equipment|Artisan Equipment]] (notably other equipment added in 1.6: the [[Dehydrator]] and [[Fish Smoker]]).

After completing a request, a new request will be made after 7 days, which is indicated by the appearance of his wife (and later on, children).
