To become engaged, a [[Mermaid's Pendant]] must be presented. The Mermaid's Pendant ({{price|5000}}) can only be acquired from the [[Old Mariner]] on the beach after repairing the bridge (300 [[wood]]) and upgrading the [[farmhouse]] at least once. The Old Mariner only appears on rainy days, meaning he will never appear during [[Winter]]. You cannot obtain the pendant in the [[Winter]]. The wedding will take place 3 days after proposing, immediately after waking up. After the marriage ceremony is complete, the player and their newly wedded spouse will appear on the farmhouse porch, and the time will be 6:00 AM.
