To chop down a tree, simply hit it repeatedly with the axe until it falls. A felled tree always falls sideways (left or right), never up or down. When the player is at its left or right, it falls away from the player. When the player is in front or behind, it falls to the side away from where the player approached the tree ''(needs confirmation).''
