Haley's two-heart event occurs when the Player Character enters Haley and Emily's house in the AM. Haley and Emily are having a fight over cleaning the couch cushions that the PC interrupts. Haley is upset that Emily is refusing to clean the cushions this week when Haley had cleaned them in the previous week. Emily thinks Haley is being childish. The PC is tasked with resolving the conflict. There are three choices:
Tell Haley to do the chore. Haley storms angrily storms off and Emily cleans the cushions.
Suggest that the cushions be Haley's only weekly assigned chore. Both agree, although Haley isn't ecstatic about it.
Ask Emily to take the high road and perform the chore. Haley becomes upset that the PC implies she is being childish. Emily cleans the cushions.
There is no net relationship gain or loss from any choice.
