Winter is the fourth season in [[Stardew Valley]]. It's followed by [[Spring]] and preceded by [[Fall]]. Winter is one of the most difficult seasons, because all the [[Grass|grass]] and [[Weeds|weeds]] on the farm die out. This makes [[Fiber|fiber]] and [[Animals#Food|hay]] more difficult to obtain (fiber can still be found in [[The Mines]], but hay must be purchased from [[Marnie's Ranch]]). However, some of the most valuable items in the game appear only in Winter.
