I'm not a native English speaker, and I'm concerned about making grammar mistakes, so I think it's better to start this discussion before editing.
Now the page says: "(panning is) from rivers, lakes, and ponds." Since you can also pan from the sea (on the beach during the night market or on Ginger Island South), I suggest we change "rivers, lakes, ponds, and the sea" to just "water". == Incorrect Ore Quantities ==
The page states that with a copper pan the player "Can find up to 5 ores, 5 coal/Omni Geodes and a gem/mineral from panning." However, I regularly get more than 5 ores. I was consistently 7, but I remember getting 8 recently. This makes me believe that the count is linked to the player's foraging level, though I can't be certain until I get to foraging level 9.
