**Note: Handing Clint a stack of ore or coal that was gathered before the quest was accepted will only gift one of them to him, and will not satisfy the quest requirement. There is a cheat, however. If you place the items in a chest and remove them one-by-one (by right-clicking), they will count towards the quest.

**Trying to cheat by dragging the stack of items from inventory and dropping them on the ground, then picking them up again ''will not work'' as of PC v1.11.
**You can also pull off part of the stack by right clicking the stack of ores leaving at least one in your inventory. Then click outside the inventory window (not the trashcan) to drop the ores on the ground, which will then be sucked back into your inventory which will then be counted towards your Gathering quest. Repeat this process until the quest completes.
