Carpenter's Shop
Template:Location The Carpenter's Shop is located in the Mountain area north of Pelican Town. Robin is the town carpenter and runs the shop, which is inside her home where she lives with Demetrius, Maru, and Sebastian. The shop is open each day from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, except Tuesdays when she goes to Pierre's General Store to exercise with Caroline, Jodi, Emily, and Marnie, and Fridays when she closes at 4:00 PM to go to The Stardrop Saloon (the house is still accessible, however). However, if you enter the house before it closes on a Friday, you can wait for Robin to enter, and then use the shop while she walks past the shopping station. This also works if you're fast enough on a Tuesday. The shop will always be closed on Summer 18, when she goes to Harvey's Clinic.
Robin sells furniture, and she can upgrade the Farmhouse and construct new farm buildings. She also buys and sells wood and stone (and buys clay). She will begin construction the day after buildings are purchased, but she will not work on festival days. Most construction projects are finished in 2 days.

Farm Buildings

Farm buildings are required to house Animals. Both coops and barn buildings have upgrades, the base building must be purchased before the upgrade. Each building can be built multiple times to support more animals.
It's recommended to build a silo first, in order to collect and store enough hay to feed animals every day.
Existing farm buildings can also be moved at the Carpenter's Shop. This action applies instantly and is free, requiring no construction time, gold, or resources other than your travel time to the Carpenter's Shop. The building's contents move along with the building, all as a unit. Unlike Chests, a building need not be empty in order to be moved.

House Upgrades
When upgrading the Farmhouse, the footprint of the building does not change, so no adjacent tiles are impacted.
House upgrades add space inside the house as well as accessibility to the kitchen for cooking.
