Crab pots are floated on the shores of bodies of water (lakes, streams, or oceans) and primed with Bait in order to catch fish. Players with the Luremaster profession don't need to refill the pots with bait.

They are very useful for increasing your fishing level without actually having to fish.

Crab pots can be crafted, or purchased for data-sort-value="1500">1,500g at Willy's Fish Shop once you've reached fishing skill level 3. Three Crab Pots are the reward for completing the Crab Pot Bundle in the Fish Tank.

Fish caught with Crab Pots (Lobsters, crabs, etc) also count towards the Mother Catch Achievement.
