Elliott will greet you, then start talking about how he came to Pelican Town to become a writer, but no one from his hometown believed he could make it. He then asks you what kind of novels you like (Choose between Mystery, Romance, and Sci-fi), and says that he will remember your choice. Then, he asks you if you know anything about plants, and if you can look at his rose because he thinks it may be wilting.
