History

The Ferngill Republic was formed after a massive rebellion against the Gotoro Empire 52 years before the player's arrival to Stardew Valley. The nation expanded and controlled 4 million miles square and continued to push against the Gotoro Empire. The nation quickly developed and allied itself with the Kingdom of Asteru, a nation (not mentioned in the game) who fought the Gotoro Empire for more than 300 years.
