For trees that are chopped down for wood, see Trees.

Fruit Trees require 28 days to mature, after which they produce one fruit per day when in season. Fruit can be allowed to accumulate up to three days before harvesting. Fruit trees do not need to be watered, and will not die in the winter. Fruit saplings will grow any season, allowing players to plant and prepare for upcoming season to bear fruit.

Fruit trees can only be planted in the center of a clear 3x3 ground area. They are planted directly into untilled ground. The 3x3 area around a fruit tree sapling must remain clear and untilled or its development will be hindered. When fully grown, the surrounding area can be paved without interrupting the tree in any way.

Fruit trees can be chopped down, and yield normal wood.

Fruit trees can be struck by lightning, causing them to become burnt for 4 days. During this time, they will not produce fruit, but will instead produce coal. After the 4 days are up, they will return to normal.

The fruit trees increase quality by 1 star per year of age after reaching maturity. Fruit trees will produce silver star fruit after one year, and gold star fruit after two years. After the third year fruit trees produce iridium quality fruit.

Fruit trees can grow in the Greenhouse.

A complete set of all six fruit tree saplings costs a total of data-sort-value="25400">Gold.png25,400g.
