On the left side is a broken bridge which can be repaired by parrots in exchange for ten [[Golden Walnut]]s. Once repaired, it leads to an area similar to the [[mountain]] [[Quarry]]. Rocks, specific [[Mining#Mining Nodes|mining nodes]], and [[mahogany tree]] seeds have a chance of spawning every day. The nodes may produce fossils, [[Bone Fragment|Bone Fragments]], or [[Clay]].

On the top right side of the Dig Site, is the Ginger Island Mushroom Cave. After unlocking the new area you will encounter [[Professor Snail]] asking for help to be freed from this cave. Placing any bomb will remove the large boulder and free the professor, thus also unlocking the Island Field Office. There is a chance of new mushroom spawning every days. Unlike the [[The_Cave|farm's cave]], mushrooms are placed directly on the ground, so players can benefit their [[Skills#Foraging|botanist]] skill.
