→‎Island North: corrected grammar + removed volcano entrance since the info seems redundant with the golden walnuts page.

At the farthest north is a volcano dungeon with ten levels, eight of which are randomly generated similar to the Skull Cavern. The fifth level has a shop, and at the tenth and last level is the Forge, where tools and weapons can be upgraded using Cinder Shards.

While at the entrance of the Volcano Dungeon, you can make a path across the lava to the left. When you make your way across, you'll find another small part of the dungeon where you can exit again. This exit leads to the river north of the dig site, where you can find 2 Golden Walnuts.

Volcano Dungeon Entrance
  −
Just North of the Ginger Island Field Office is the Volcano Dungeon Entrance. There are currently 5 known Golden Walnuts locations in this area. To the top left, a Golden Walnut is buried in a circle of small stones next to the cliff. A second Golden Walnut can be found below the cliff location through a secret path and lies upon a bush. The third is hidden near the Volcano Entrance just behind a tree. A fourth Golden Walnut can be found buried in alongside the Volcano in a circle of rocks. The fifth Golden Walnut can be knocked down using a sling shot by aiming at the tree to the top right side of the Volcano, next to the Island shack.

Dig Site
Dig Site
On the left side is a broken bridge which can be repaired by parrots in exchange for ten Golden Walnuts. Once repaired, it leads to an area similar to the mountain Quarry. Rocks, specific mining nodes, and mahogany tree seeds have a chance of spawning every day. The nodes may produce fossils, Bone Fragments, or Clay.

On the top right side of the Dig Site, is the Ginger Island Mushroom Cave. After unlocking the new area you will encounter Professor Snail asking for help to be freed from this cave. Placing any bomb will remove the large boulder and free the professor, thus also unlocking the Island Field Office. There is a chance of new mushroom spawning every days. Unlike the farm's cave, mushrooms are placed directly on the ground, so players can benefit their botanist skill.

To the right of the stairs north of the Dig Site is the Ginger Island Mushroom Cave. Initially there is a boulder blocking the entrance, with someone behind it calling for help. Placing any bomb will remove the large boulder and free Professor Snail, thus also unlocking the Island Field Office. There is a chance of new mushrooms spawning every day in the cave. Unlike the farm's cave, mushrooms grow directly on the ground, so players can benefit from the botanist profession.
