The '''Grass Starter''' is a type of seed that will instantly place a patch of [[Grass]] upon usage.

'''Grass Starter''' is a type of seed that will instantly place a patch of [[Grass]] when "used".  Over time, a patch of grass will grow and spread to surrounding tiles on the farm.  Grass can be harvested with the [[Scythe]] to produce [[Hay]], once a [[Silo]] is built.  In [[Winter]], all grass on the farm will die.

They can be purchased for {{Price|100}} at the [[General Store]] or for {{Price|125}} at [[JojaMart]].

Grass Starter is meant to be used outside where farm animals can eat it, but it can be placed inside a [[Carpenter's Shop#Farm_Buildings|Farm Building]].  Animals will not eat it, and it will not grow, but it can be harvested to create [[Hay]].
