JojaMart is a mart owned by the MegaCorp Joja Corporation. Its pristine clean walls and cold, uninviting atmosphere serves to remind the player why they've escaped to the country to begin with. Morris handles JojaMart PR (Public Relations), and he seems to live there as well. He offers the players an opportunity to purchase a JojaMart Membership for the sum of 5000.
+
JojaMart is a store owned by "Joja Corporation", the player's previous employer. It is managed by Morris, who also handles customer service. The store is the main competitor of Pierre's General Store and sells a similar variety of seeds and other items, with JojaMart's key advantages being open longer (until 11pm) and on Wednesdays, however without Membership its prices are usually worse than Pierre's. Purchases can be made from the unnamed cashier found at checkout lane 3.

The employees at Joja Mart seem tired and fatigued, much like the player in the game introduction. Shane seems to be particularly brought down by his work schedule, and shows both an unfriendly attitude in the Mart and at the Saloon by night (unless the player has befriended him).
+
Morris can be found inside the kiosk at the bottom right of the store, where he will offer the player a JojaMart Membership for 5000. Membership is available once the Community Center is unlocked. Purchasing a Joja Membership from Morris causes the Community Center to be turned into a Joja Warehouse. The player can then purchase community development projects through the Joja Community Development Form, rather than through completing bundles in the Community Center.

Buying a Membership at JojaMart from Morris causes the Community center to be destroyed and replaced with a Joja Warehouse. The player can then buy the town refurbishments through JojaMart, rather than through completing bundles in the community center. The Joja Community Development Form allows players to do so. It should be noted that this alternate branch in gameplay encourages a very different, money-driven playstyle than the exploration one offered through improving the Community Center; rather than requiring a variety of items from different seasons to complete bundles, large sums of cash in the 15k-45k range are paid upfront for improvements. There is a greater emphasis on the growing of cash crops to progress, which can be easier for players who have a good grasp of how to earn money. Upgrading this way does not grant bonus rewards that individual bundles in the community center provide, although nothing unique is missed since all item rewards from bundles are craftable.
+
A red-haired cashier mans the register all day. Shane works there stocking shelves from 8:00 to 5:00 on weekdays. He also works on the weekend if it's raining. Sam sweeps from 12:50 to 5:00 on Mondays and Wednesdays. Both Sam and Shane are not available to talk to during their work time.

JojaMart offers brand products at a relatively cheap price, but sells seeds at ludicrous prices. JojaMart plays with underhanded tactics to keep up with the local competition (Pierre's Store) like giving out discount tickets at Pierre's store and aggressive pricing (It is noted that the player never actually receives these discounts unless they have a membership). The only pricing exception is their Sunflower Seeds, which are 75 (37.5%) cheaper than Pierre's.
+
Prices
 +
The cost of seeds, Grass Starter, Sugar, Wheat Flour, and Rice at JojaMart are higher than at Pierre's General Store, with one exception: Sunflower Seeds are 125 at JojaMart, and 200 at Pierre's. After the player purchases a Joja membership, prices are the same as at Pierre's (with the exception of Sunflower Seeds, which sell for 100 at Joja).

JojaMart's prices after the coupons expire are initially 25% higher than Pierre's, but after purchasing a membership they become equivalent, and the store remains open later. It's unclear whether this is a member discount, or because the newly built warehouse has lowered prices in some way.
+
The prices of Joja Cola, the J. Cola Light, Wallpaper (including Joja wallpaper) and Flooring do not change after purchasing a Joja membership.

It is easy to say that Joja is the rather global antagonist in Stardew Valley, as they represent everything the player is trying to escape from.<br>

Morris can be found inside the kiosk at the bottom right of the store, where he will offer the player a JojaMart Membership for data-sort-value="5000">Gold.png5,000g.
