JojaMart
JojaMart is a mart owned by the MegaCorp Joja. Its pristine clean walls and cold, uninviting atmosphere serves to remind the Player why he has left the cities to begin with. Morris, the PR (Public representative) seems to live there and offers a Membership for the sum of 5000 G.
The employees at Joja Mart seems tired and fatigued, much like the Player at the start. Shane seems to be particularly brought down by his work schedule, and shows both an unfriendly attitude in the Mart and at the Saloon by night.
JojaMart offers its brand products at a relatively cheap price, but sells seeds at ludicrous prices (Probably to prevent competition with its own farmers/retailers). JojaMart plays with underhanded tactics to close the local competition(Pierre's) like giving out discount tickets and aggressive pricing.
Buying a Membership at JojaMart from Morris causes the Community center to be destroyed and replaced by a warehouse. The player can then buy the things offered as rewards in the community center against money rather than collection and offerings. (Verification is required)
It is easy to say that Joja is the rather global antagonist in Stardew Valley, as they represent everything the player is trying to escape from.
