The '''Movie Theater''' is a building that allows players to watch movies, alone or with a guest, once every 7 days. It is unlocked after completing the [[Community Center]]. The night before the first rainy or stormy day after completing the Community Center, there is a cutscene of a lightning bolt striking the doors to the abandoned [[JojaMart]]. Afterwards, the player may enter the abandoned JojaMart and find [[Bundles#The Missing Bundle|the Missing Bundle]]. The night after completing the Missing Bundle, the [[Junimos]] will build a Movie Theater.

Players must purchase a [[Movie Ticket]] for {{price|1000}} to enter the Movie Theater. Gifting a ticket to a villager will invite them to the movies with you. To see the movie with the villager, you must enter the theater on the same day you give them the ticket; otherwise, the ticket you gave them is forgotten.

==Movies==

There are 8 movies in total. Movies repeat on a 2-year cycle, based on the season in which the player unlocks the Movie Theater. All four "year 1" movies will cycle, followed by year 2 movies, then repeat. The year in the table below refers to the year in which the player first unlocks the Theater.
