Old Mariner is an NPC who appears on the right area of the beach who is mostly shrouded in mystery. He is responsible for selling [[Mermaid's Pendant]], a [[marriage]] token. Two conditions must be met for him to appear:
-Bridge on beach must be repaired
-Weather must be rainy or stormy
Once met, if a player is not eligible for marriage, he will say, "I've got this old amulet to sell... but somethin' tells me yer not ready for it, sir/miss." If the player has a relationship with an NPC that is 10 hearts and a bouquet has been given, the player may purchase the pendant for 5000g.
