It's because minelevels aren't directly correlated with skull cavern ones. The first floor of skull cavern is 121, the 880th floor 1000, etc. Since the quarry mine is at minelevel 77377, in the skull cavern it is actually at level 77377-120=77257. Sorry if this is confusing, but yeah it's not a direct correlation with exactly what is shown in the code.
