The Steel Pickaxe is a tool in Stardew Valley. It is obtained by upgrading the Copper Pickaxe at the Blacksmith.

It is used mainly for breaking stones and furniture items (including floors and sprinklers). With each upgrade level, the number of hits required are reduced and bigger stones may become breakable. Using the pickaxe on an enemy will deal a small portion of damage to the monster, similarly to swing action tools.
