[[Pierre's General Store]] is one of the first locations the player will visit in Stardew Valley. It's where you can buy various seeds, saplings, and items. After you have 8 hearts with a single [[Villagers|villager]], a [[bouquet|bouquet of flowers]] will be available for purchase (however you can only give these to [[marriage]] candidates). You can also sell [[Pierre]] [[Foraging|foraged]] items, [[crops]], [[Artisan Goods|artisan goods]], and animal products if you need instant gold and don't want to wait over night.

At first, Pierre's General Store is closed on [[Days of the Week#Wednesday|Wednesday]] and the building is locked at 5 PM. However if you finish all of the [[Community Center]] [[bundles]], Pierre's General Store will be open 7 days a week, and you will be able to enter the building until 9 PM.

You can enter the building until 9pm, but Pierre leaves the sales counter at 5pm every day, so you cannot purchase or sell goods after 5pm.  (Note:  The in-game map reads "Open 9am to 6pm" but this is not accurate.)

If the player chooses to sell items to Pierre, there is a chance they will appear in the list of items for sale, especially if sold to Pierre in large quantity.  These items will be available for purchase in limited quantities only.  Additional villager dialogues may appear indicating they've seen or purchased the items.
