Additional "ON" Image?
Hey, I have access to practically all of the sprites for machines in their "on" mode (activated by placing an item in them, of course). Does anyone think that it would be cool to have the "on" sprite beside the current image? I would be willing to put in the time to do this, but I need to make sure that I would have the go-ahead for something unnecessary like that. PrismaticGlasses (talk) 16:42, 23 June 2022 (UTC)
- Most of the machines animate while they're working, and the images wouldn't show up properly in the infobox, which is probably why they're not already there. I appreciate your enthusiasm, though! - I'm glad someone appreciates questioning before acting other than me, and yes, while the sprites are animated during the "on" mode, only one "frame" is used, and that image is just warped, enlarged, anything needed. I actually have the sprite that would be warped, enlarged, ect. I'd just like to throw that out there, because this just would be a fun task. If you still don't think that it really would be worth it, that's completely understandable, and I will respectfully leave the page alone.

- Combining them would be easier for the infoboxes, but would wreak havoc whenever the image was used with Template:Name, so that's a no-go, unfortunately. margotbean (talk) 16:56, 25 June 2022 (UTC)
