What is the "small random chance" for more tomatoes? This calculation may well affect which crop proves most profitable for long-term cultivation in the greenhouse. Astronautty (talk) 08:12, 7 May 2017 (BST)

The chance is approximately 0.05. —margotbean (talk) 20:42, 7 May 2017 (BST)

Vegetable and Fruit

By this time in multiple reverts, I think it is well past the point where editors should be talking to each other with each action. You know me to be one who listens, but you still need to convince me. Butterbur (talk) 16:10, 1 July 2017 (BST)

I'm going to offer my two cents coming into this a little late. I think all of the information being discussed here may not be important to the game, but the context it adds to the six heart event some is appropriate to include. I do think it should be as succinct as possible though, I don't like expanding it out to include a paragraph about the differences between the classification - it's too much information. Making reference to the ambiguity in one or two sentences is appropriate for a trivia bulletpoint - we can add a link to the wikipedia article on tomatoes if players want to read expanded details. Especially with trivia, I think it's good to keep it brief and as closely applicable to the game as possible. The ambiguity about fruit vs vege is applicable to the event, all the extra details are probably not in my opinion.
Simply put, if it's too much information I'd tune it out as a reader. We need to keep in mind, no one is here looking for information about Tomatoes and we shouldn't feel obligated to educate TOO much haha. Katzeus (talk) 12:43, 7 July 2017 (BST)
