The golden pumpkin is a valuable object obtained during the Spirit's Eve Festival, it has no other purpose than selling it for a profit of 2500.
To obtain the Golden Pumpkin, head north after arriving at the event. Make your way through the maze until you reach a sign that contains a question mark. Proceed through the bushes adjacent (left) the sign and again move north into a cave. Continue east and then south until you reach the treasure chest with the Golden Pumpkin.
