Green Algae is an item that can be found in all fishing spots during all seasons, with the exception of the Farm Pond on the Standard Farm, and the Beach. When caught while fishing, Green Algae gives 3 Fishing XP.

It's also a rare drop from Green Slimes, and may be produced in Slimejack, Crayfish, Snail, or Periwinkle Fish Ponds.

Green Algae can be used in the spool of the Sewing Machine to create the dyeable Collared Shirt.

Quests

• Green Algae may be randomly requested during any season at the "Help Wanted" board outside Pierre's General Store for a reward of data-sort-value="45">45g and 150 Friendship points.
• 2-3 Green Algae may be requested by Bullhead, Carp, Largemouth Bass, or Midnight Carp in a Fish Pond quest to increase the capacity of the pond from 3 to 5.

• 1.4: Added as Fish Pond build material. Can now be used in Tailoring. Can be requested in Fish Pond quests. Can be produced by Fish Ponds.
