The Iridium Rod is a tool used to catch fish. It can be purchased from Willy's Fish Shop for 7,500g upon reaching Fishing Level 6.
However, the level is only required for the rod to appear in Willy's Shop. If one manages to obtain the rod by different means (e.g. from a different player in Multiplayer), then the player will be able to use the rod without any penalties, even on a lower level.
