The Ruby is a Mineral that can be found in Ruby Nodes and Gem Nodes in the Mines (floors 80+), by panning, in Fishing Treasure Chests, or received as a gift at the Feast of the Winter Star. It may also occasionally be found in a Garbage Can after the player has reached the bottom of the mines. The Desert Trader in the Calico Desert will trade one Spicy Eel for one Ruby.

Tailoring

It is used in the spool of the Sewing Machine to create a Shirt.

Quests

• The Ruby may be randomly requested during any season at the "Help Wanted" board outside Pierre's General Store for a reward of data-sort-value="750">750g and 150 Friendship points. The ruby will never be requested until you have reached level 80+ of The Mines.
