Admins censor critical conversations on the Junimo trade
When I saw this page, I was surprised to find that there was no mention of the controversy surrounding the Junimo trade. Now I realize why - admins of this wiki are actively censoring all discussion critical of the status quo - see the diff between 134181 and 134180. Such a shame that admins aren't willing to even see this subject talked about. I have seen Junimos completely dehumanized - compared to horses or insects - and I just want someone to acknowledge this tension and start a conversation, but obviously that is not welcome here. I hope someday this Wiki will muster the courage to publish more critical voices. PeanutLuvr (talk) 20:46, 31 January 2022 (UTC)
- As someone who has had edits reverted, specifically reversal of edits I didn't agree with at all, as someone who doesn't think the moderation is the best (there was a thread in Margot's page a few months ago with people complaining about the moderation that I agreed with), and as someone who thinks the Junimos do get enslaved with the Junimo Huts, I have to agree with the the admin's decision here. The wiki is supposed to be an informative site. Meaning that only to-the-point and objective facts are listed. You might think your edits don't add subjectively but they do. For example, in one of your edits, you claim that a Junimo is doing "unpaid labor" by taking a bundle, while I could claim that's not true because the Junimos get the contents from the bundle and the player never forces them to do it anyways (Do I think so? That's besides the point here). If you want a place to discuss subjects like this, then you can do that on the forums, on reddit, wherever else. The wiki isn't the place for this. Similar to why we don't have pages discussing why Pierre is bad or theories such as Abigail being the Wizard's daughter, text like this doesn't belong here.
