The Wedding Ring is a craftable item used to propose marriage in a multiplayer game. It cannot be gifted to a villager.
In order to propose, the ring must be given to a player, who has the option to accept or refuse it. If accepted, the two players become engaged. Similar to marrying a villager, the wedding ceremony will take place in 3 days.
After the engagement is accepted, the Wedding Ring cannot be used to marry again.
The Wedding Ring can be equipped like other rings, but has no added bonuses. Like other rings, the Wedding Ring can be sold to the Adventurer's Guild.
Its recipe can be purchased from the Traveling Cart for 500g.
Achievements
In a Multiplayer game, the Wedding Ring must be crafted to earn the Craft Master achievement ("Craft every item"). In a single-player game, the recipe cannot be purchased, and the player is not required to craft the Wedding Ring to earn the Craft Master achievement.
