The lonely stone is not an area, but it has a location on the Stardew Valley map. Upon clicking the lonely stone on the map, a rock sound effect will play. After clicking on the lonely stone and around the time when the rock sound effect is played, the map screen will close entirely.

The lonely stone also hasn't been mentioned by any villagers/characters nor is there any lore about it hidden in game files or mentioned by ConcernedApe.

A new item duplication glitch involving chests has been discovered in {{version|1.4.4|version 1.4}}.

 

If the player has a full inventory and then selects the sort button while holding an item (or stack of items) from a chest, the held item will duplicate to double the number of items in that stack. This can be done multiple times, and the item stack will double each time (i.e. 1 item becomes 2, then 4, then 8, etc.)

 

Pick up the duplicate items by emptying a slot in your inventory, then grab the original item stack out of the chest to complete the glitch and make the duplicate items useable.
