Each time a villager sees you rummaging through a trash can nearby, and disapproves, you lose 25 friendship points with the villager, who also speaks to indicate the disapproval. [[Linus]], who never minds, remains silent. Likewise, there is no response from or loss with any other villager with whom you already have ten hearts.
