It is based on the weapon of the same name in Terraria. When enemies are slain with it (or a weapon forged to have its appearance), they will explode into rainbow sparkles. The [[Far Away Stone]] can be obtained by getting the [[Ancient Doll]] item and tossing it into lava, head to Level 100 of the Mines or Floor 10 of the Volcano Dungeon.
