Starting at the green square depicted, which is directly in front of the door to the house, follow each arrow until the character cannot move anymore. First, walk left until they hit a permanent obstacle. Then walk up until they hit an obstacle, and so on. If you do It correctly use you picaxe behind the Mayor's manor to find his secret project.
