They can be opened by the [[Blacksmith]]. (Notably, they cannot be opened using a [[Geode Crusher]].) They can be earned by digging up [[Artifact Spot]]s, [[Fishing]], [[Mining]] and more. There is also a [[Golden Mystery Box|rare golden variant]] with a different (and more valuable) loot table.
