[[Spring]] crops are the least valuable crops by far, as even the most valuable crop, [[Strawberry]], is not very profitable compared to the other two seasons. There are many options for [[Spring]] cash crops, mainly due to the placement of the [[Egg Festival]] on the 13th of [[Spring]]. On the first season, after the [[Parsnip]] harvest on the 5th, the best way to have as much money as possible for [[Strawberry Seeds]] is to plant [[Kale]]. However, it is much easier and only slightly less profitable to buy [[Bean Starter]] instead of [[Kale Seeds]] and then not buy [[Strawberry Seeds]]. In the second year, it makes the most sense to plant [[Rhubarb Seeds]] (as long as you have unlocked the [[Bus]] to the [[Desert]]), followed by [[Strawberry Seeds]]. It also makes sense to save some for the following year, so they can be planted on the 1st, as long as you have enough money for those extra seeds. In the mid-game (years 3-4), it makes the most sense to do one of 3 things. Save [[Strawberrry Seeds]] at the [[Egg Festival]] every year, so they can be planted on the 1st the next year. Or, if you can't, don't want to, or haven't saved seeds, you may want to do two harvests of [[Rhubarb]], however, this may be difficult to fit into the schedule. The easiest thing to do is to just plant [[Cauliflower Seeds]] twice, and not need to deal with timing [[Rhubarb]], or pre-buying [[Strawberry Seeds]]. In late-game years, [[Ancient Seeds]] may be the best choice or just nothing at all, as [[Spring]] crops may not be worth the effort in the later years of the game (years 5+).
