There are currently 4 different types of fence in the game, each last a different amount of time before degrading; with [[Wood Fence]] taking the shortest amount of time and [[Hardwood Fence]] taking the longest.

[[Gate|Gates]] can be used to pass through fences, and closed to keep livestock (and other ground-pathing entities) contained.
