[[Krobus]] describes a 1000 year war between the dwarves and the [[Shadow Brute|shadow people]], as such Dwarf is sometimes suspicious of the player of being a spy sent by the shadow people.

The Dwarf and [[Krobus]] are both in [[The Sewers]] and get into a fight based on their races' history. The player enters and gets between them, and then the [[Wizard]] appears and stops the fight. He gets them to agree to stop fighting and casts a spell to seal the agreement.
