They can also be obtained in [[Fishing#Treasure Chests|Fishing Treasure Chests]], [[Artifact Spot]]s,  by using the [[Seed Maker]], or as a drop from monsters in the mine.

Rice Shoots take only 6 days to mature and do not require watering if planted between 3 tiles of a [[Farm Pond]] in any direction, otherwise they will take 8 days to mature.
