Adult chickens will produce eggs every morning if fed. Happier chickens may produce larger, more valuable eggs. To feed chickens, grow grass (a grass starter can be purchased from Pierre's for 100G) outside of the coop and open the doors for the chickens to leave and graze during the day. For chickens to feed during rainy days, construct a silo and use a scythe to collect hay from grass. The hay will automatically be added into the coop, and the chickens will feed upon it as necessary. Chickens can be interacted with once every day to show affection.

The hay will automatically be added into the coop, but it must be moved from the hay barrel inside into the trough, and the chickens will feed upon it as necessary. Up to four pieces of hay can be placed, and a chicken will feed off of one each day.
