The cash crops which can be grown during [[Fall]] are the most profitable in the game, and are so valuable that it may be a waste of time to plant anything in [[Spring]] or [[Summer]]. Mainly, the [[Sweet Gem Berry]], grown from [[Rare Seed]]s, the best crop in the game, causes this. However, as the name implies, [[Rare Seed]]s are quite rare. Therefore, whenever they are available, they are a worthwhile purchase. However, in the first year, (and maybe the second and third) you may want to plant other crops as well. The most valuable would be [[Cranberry Seeds]], but a close second is [[Pumpkin Seeds]], which are much less work. In the mid-game, you will probably only be planting [[Rare Seed]]s, and in the late-game, even [[Rare Seed]]s may not be as profitable as [[Ancient Fruit]], especially since when [[Ancient Fruit]] is made into [[Wine]], it is more valuable than the [[Sweet Gem Berry]].
