In all languages other than English, the [[Wild Plum]] is categorized as a "Forage" item instead of a "Fruit".  Therefore, it cannot be placed in a [[Preserves Jar]] or [[Keg]], and villager gifting preferences for it are affected.

*As of {{version|1.3|v1.3}}:  In Brazilian-Portugese, Chinese, German, Japanese, Spanish, and Russian, the Wild Plum is classified as "[[Foraging|Forage]]" rather than "'''Fruit'''", so it cannot be made into [[Jellies and Pickles|Jelly]] or [[Wine]].  [[Friendship#Universal Gifts|Gifting]] is also affected for any villagers whose preferences for Foraged items differ from their preferences for Fruit.
