*[[Elliott]] gives a hint about the existence of the pirate's cave when he visits the Island Resort.  On non-rainy nights after 8pm, even days (the 2nd, 4th, etc.), pirates inhabit the cove. Talk to one of the pirates to play three rounds of a darts game of increasing difficulty; win 1 golden walnut each round.

**If the player is wearing the proper [[Pirate Hat|head attire]], they can order a drink from the bar.

**At the bottom right of the cove, there is a dig spot for a [[Golden Walnut]].

**Inside of the cave is the only place where you can catch a [[Stingray]].

**It is possible to fish a present box (an ??? item) containing Gourmand Statue (and possible other items) when fishing facing south on the right side of the pond inside the cave.

*On rainy days a Mermaid will appear by the shore. Playing the Mermaids song will reward 5 [[Golden Walnut]]s.

**To play the song requires tuning 5 [[Flute Block]]s. Place one [[Flute Block|flute block]] below each set of stones on the shore, then tune each block by the amount of stones. A large stone symbolizes 5, and a small stone symbolizes 1. After tuning all 5 blocks, simply run past each one left-to-right.
