Once the player finds it, the butterfly provides an amount of gold equal to 0.5% of the player's total earnings so far. However, the amount of gold earned cannot be less than {{Price|100}} and cannot be greater than {{Price|50000}}.<ref name="butterfly" /> There's a chance that it will also drop a {{name|Prismatic Shard|class=inline}} (with chance equal to approximately <samp>0.05+DailyLuck</samp>, which means it won't drop a Prismatic Shard if daily luck is less than -0.05).
