[[Summer Seeds]] are a type of [[Crafting#Seeds|Crafted]] seed. Mature plants yield, at random, a [[Spice Berry]], [[Grape]], or [[Sweet Pea]].

[[Summer Seeds]] are a type of [[Crafting#Seeds|Crafted]] seed in [[Stardew Valley]]. The crafting recipe is labeled "Wild Seeds (Su)", but when crafted, the result is "Summer Seeds."  Mature plants yield, at random, a [[Spice Berry]], [[Grape]], or [[Sweet Pea]].  Summer Seeds are the only wild seeds that can produce a non-forage crop, the [[Grape]].  

The Summer Seeds pack is the only wild speed pack that can produce a normally-farmable [[fruit]], the [[Grape]].

Summer Seeds are one of the season-specific crafted wild seeds, along with [[Spring Seeds]], [[Fall Seeds]], and [[Winter Seeds]] that produce crops normally found as [[Foraging|forage]].  While Farming Skill normally increases the chance to grow a quality crop, Foraging Skill increases the chance to grow a quality crop from Summer Seeds.  

It is one of the season-specific, wild seed packs, along with [[Spring Seeds]], [[Fall Seeds]], and [[Winter Seeds]].  Like these other [[Foraging|Forage]]-pack seeds, the Farming Skill can significantly boost your chance of getting a gold or silver quality crop, while the majority of items foraged from the wilderness will have no star at all, regardless of your [[Foraging]] skill.  Also like the other Wild Seed crops, on the day a plant from a winter seed is available for harvest, there is a chance that the tile will revert from a tilled state to a non-tilled state, requiring the player to use the [[Hoe]] again to make the area plantable.  This also means that whatever speed grow was in the soil will need to be reapplied, making it against recommendation to use fertilizer on wild seeds.

A mature plant grown from a Summer Seed may leave untilled soil in its place, when harvested.  Any fertilizer used will be lost in this case.
