The Mermaid's Pendant is an item obtained from the Old Mariner for 
5,000g after you have reached 10 Hearts with a romanceable Villager, given them the bouquet and have the first house upgrade. This pendant is used to marry a character. The Old Mariner will be at the beach past the bridge that costs 300 wood to build, he will only appear in the rain so he will never appear in the winter.
