Races

Humans

They make up a majority of the Valley's population and are much like humans everywhere.

Dwarves

They call themselves 'Smoluanu', or 'Sky People'. They are known for living underground and advanced technology. At least one academic believes they come from outer space. One of them lives in The Mines.

Fairies

Not much is known, but they occasionally appear and bless your crops.

Elves

Nimble and known as skilled craftsman.

Shadow People

Beings that cannot stand the light. They fought an ancient war against the Dwarves when the latter invaded their ancestral home. Krobus is one of them.

Junimos

Some kind of forest spirit. Many of them have taken to living in the Community Center and they have inspired a video game.

Geography

Gem Sea

A body of water that Pelican Town sits on. There is a prairie-island somewhere in it that has inspired a video game. Rumors suggest Gunther comes from across the Gem Sea.

Fern Islands

An archipelago. Willy is from here.

History

The Elemental War

An event referenced by the Wizard. It either was or included the war between the Dwarves and Shadow People.

Organizations

Joja Corporation

A Megacorp that seems to cover shipping, warehousing, distribution, mining activities, and energy drink production. The Player used to work for them. Morris and Shane both currently work for them at the local Joja Mart.

Ferngill Republic

Presumably the nation events take place in. Morris believes Joja Corporation is good for the country as a whole.

Religion

Yoba

Creator deity. Has a shrine in Pierre's. Krobus worships it.
